The sky was clear blue with no threats of dark clouds and tears from the skies. The graduation square was packed to capacity with relatives, friends and colleagues eager to beat the sun to witness the graduation of their loved ones.
The moment long awaited for finally arrived as Dr. Edward Mungai, dean of Strathmore Business School arose to the podium to read out the list of the graduating MBA students. The journey which had began two years before was now fast forwarded to this moment. It had not been an easy journey, thronged with hours of hard study, case cracking, project writing and thesis defending.
One by one, the MBA students took their rightful place standing as the entire square watched with the utterance of the long awaited words, “I now award you……” Graduation caps flew into the air in celebration as the students were declared Master of Business Administration graduates.
